I believe that Peter is not running his identification help at the moment, so may not be able to help you in time for the bowl that you are interested in.
I have seen the exquisite oil spot tea bowls, but my bowl is not in the same league. However, I am very happy to own it and stick magnets on it now and then 😉

It has a very uneven rim, but to me this is also part of its charm. It has a combination of oil spots on the outside and oil spot and hare’s fur pattern on the inside. I sent photographs to the V&A and they told me that this combination occurred as 'the difference between the interior and the exterior is the result of air circulation in the kiln, causing glaze particles to float (oil spot, exterior) or to drip (hare's fur, interior).’ I believe that this combination is quite unusual.

And yes that what I like about your bowl is the way it made I’m still kicking my self for letting a bowl like yours to get away from me because I didn’t know much about this style at the time I want let the next one get away John

I guess that it is a case of seeing something at the right time and being able to purchase it. This was the case with my Qi Baishi painting as well. However, my father had the opportunity in the mid 1970's to be able to purchase a small, but definitely genuine J M W Turner watercolour, but decided not to!!

This is the bowl I thought looked interesting but it went waaay above my budget. I had also already decided to leave it. Note the Japanese(?) lacquer stand that look like it's likely antique. An old wood box and a silk pouch was also included. This is a good sign but by no mean a guarentee. I see a lot of nice tenmoku bowls but in most cases I can only make a qualified guess if they are genuinly old. I would have to handle it to tell if it's real.
The bowl that you have posted has the 'Yuteki' silver oil spots which the much more valuable Jian tea bowls than my bowl have. Although my bowl has oil spots and hare's fur glaze, I would think that the bowl you were interested in would command a much greater value.

Well - it's also of the Jian kiln, but yes: The potential value would probably be much higher.
Sorry - misread your post. Yes, both bowls are Jian kiln but I think that the main thing is that the oil-spots have iridescence - not so much the tone of the spots - or am I wrong?
From what I have seen and read, 'Yuteki' is the Japanese description of the iridescent oil spots.

I see. I have one really good oil-spot bowl with a black base and 'peachy' spots BTW but I'm afraid it's a later copy. I must check for iridescence and magnetism next time I handle it. If only I could it in my home ...
I understand that the Japanese description for hare's fur glaze Jian tea bowls is Nogime, but I have yet to find a the description for a combined oil spot and hare's fur glaze. Below is a photograph showing the outside and inside of my bowl. It would be great if anyone can tell me if there is a term for this combination.
