BidAmount Asian Art-Antiques Site Guide look at Alain Truong
About the author Alain Truong
Country: France
A few words about me
Born in Saigon (Vietnam) of a family of industrialists on the paternal side and art collectors on the maternal side, I attended French schools and high schools until Bac. I became a collector and an active member of the French Society of Oriental Ceramic Studies.
After studying economics in Paris II and art history at the Ecole du Louvre, I joined a law firm.
At the same time, since 1984, I have been a fashion designer. So I made several personal parades at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris among others and participated in group parades. I was laureate of a contest of young creators and participated twice in the Fashion Festival organized by ELLE magazine at Galeries Lafayette. I also participated in group exhibitions, including two at the Museum of Fashion and Costume, Palais Galliéra. This museum also has in his collection three of my models. I am currently creating jewels, always in unique copies.
