Bidit Auctions Fakes so add them to the growing list. Over the last few years, we've done a few pieces on several auction houses in the area of the Marietta-Roswell Georgia area that all seem to offer only fakes and copies of Chinese and Asian art.
I think we can now add yet again another to the list. With a slight twist, a few of the lots being presented are old, mostly Export types and not particularly rare. "Salting" a mine or minefield comes to mind.
Meet Bidit Auctioneers, More Fakes and Copies From Georgia.
In the past we've covered the Eden Auction Gallery, Roswell Auction Gallery, Lauren Auction Gallery and now we have the brand new auction house that's sprung up, the Bidit Auction house.
Is Georgia a particularly rich area of Asian art collectors? Ans: nope. However, shipping containers laden with new "antiques" can be sent from China easily...
Bidit Auctions is brand new auction company in Georgia that has suddenly sprung to life offering a slew of suspect Chinese "antiques" being offered in a three-day auction.
Is there any connection between Bidit Auctioneers and the other three we've covered in the past? i.e. Lauren, Roswell and Eden galleries.
As far as we can tell, there is nothing online linking them, other than the curious location and incredible similarity of content, perhaps it's just a shocking coincidence. They are all within a few miles of one another, so you decide if it seems odd or not (see map above) .
The most curious part of Bidit Auctioneers is, they seem not to have an auction hall and the only address they've provided is a rental house in a suburban neighborhood.
They, like Rosswell Auctions, also do not have a website we can find. Just a residential address and a phone number. Roswell Auctioneers as you might recall coincidentally were at the same location as the Lauren Gallery in Roswell.
So far Bidit has no information available for previewing or where the auction will take place. Maybe you can only bid online and you'll just have to trust them. Who knows!
Bidit Auctions Fakes of Chinese Art, A few examples from their 3 day "Premiere" auction.
Auction Dates: June 12th, 13th and 14th.
Hundreds more can be found on Liveauctioneers if you really want to look at the stuff for educational purposes only...
The above is of course only our opinion.

A public search of corporations in Georgia shows that Bidit Auction LLC has a registered agent, Lianzeng Liu.
A quick Google search of Liangzeng Liu turns up this webpage (https://www.alignable.com/marietta-ga/eden-galleries-atlanta-auction-house)
shows that Liangzeng Liu is a member of the Eden Galleries Atlanta Auction House.
Clearly there is a link between the two auction houses.
