@jiajiexue hi, I'm very curious as to why you decided to bid on this item, can you share with us what led to your decision.
both my friend and I felt this is late 19th century-mid 20th century piece. We will have much better idea when the item arrives. I figured extra set of opinion won’t hurt here.
A wide selection of items with one thing in common: None of them look correct.
Seeing a mixed lot like this one is, in my humble opinion, rather telling. If JHT actually thought any of these items was genuine or genuinely old, then they would definitely not sell them altogether in a mixed lot. It's especially disappointing to see the no doubt fictional backstory:
Many of the items brought out of China c1960 by the important family of doctors. Some are thought to have been gifts from high ranking officials and dignitaries. Most of the pieces have been packed away for the past 20-40 years

Not everything JHT sells is fake. I have in the past bought some jade plaques. I think it was 11 in total. All genuine and old. I also bought from them a delightful modern painting by Jin Weihong.
However I do agree with other members that a lot of their listing are dubious to say the least. If one wants to buy from them or any other eBay seller and is unsure whether it's genuine or not then simply post it here. At least you will get an honest opinion.

Having some difficulty with with posting pictures today. I could only manage the following.
They (JHT) did have this genuine republican plaque by He Xuren. It sold for a stupid price of about 90k. Of course not paid for. Relisted it again. This time sold for 25k. And yes still not paid for. Ended up at sotheby's late last year and sold for $3500 plus BP. In my opinion it was dirt cheap. Unfortunately I did not have the spare cash at the time.
@imperialfinegems The sophisticated buyer with the equivalent of a doctorate in fine arts could tell the difference. I looked at their page and it all looked good to me, so more class time needed. What's in that red Cartier box?

Your eagle eye captured a cartier pasha loupe from the 1980'S early 90's. Stainless steel with a blue cabochon stone. Are not available or seen that often. Not sold by cartier but were given as incentive gifts to retailers etc. Worth on the current market about $700 usd.
JHT are high powered sellers with great pictures and fanciful stories about who owned them etc.
Unfortunately a large number of their items are modern knock offs.

The yellow bowl that is cracked in the middle is probably old. Maybe used as a bait to make the rest of the mixed lot look more valuable.
