Not Asian, but I thought you might find these interesting.
At the Stair auction last month I scored these beauties for the hammer price of $25 (but BOY, was shipping expensive!).
I'm usually not that partial to pink roses but now that they arrived I'm so glad bought them. They are an excellent example of king Frederick's mission to create royal-quality porcelain in Berlin. The Germanic details are stunning. If I saw this at a second-hand shop I'd at first assume it was 20th c. transfer but upon close inspection the brush strokes are apparent. Condition: near perfect except for a couple tiny scratches on one of the pink flowers.
The body is bright white and quite regular and perfect. According to my porcelain book, Prussians had trouble reproducing bright colors and although Frederick was proud of his pink, it never reached the luminous quality of "rose Pompadour" from Sèvres. "The glaze was hard, clear, brilliant and technically perfect, but the 'severe' character of both the paste and glaze made it impossible to secure the bright, glowing colour that could be secured with the less refractory glaze of soft paste porcelain." (The Practical Book of Chinaware, p. 188.) Not sure exactly what that means and the pink looks bright to me but the green is subdued.
The trim design has the regularity of Neoclassicism while the spiraling ribbon suggests the playfulness of Rococo. I'm guessing they're from the 1770s.
One plate has impressed marks; not sure what they mean. Both feature the blue scepter of early KPM.

I found two similar ones on the web with very different ages. Don't know which seller gave the correct one.
It could be one of the 1920s pieces, see third row in the link below. According to my book of German porcelain marks the scepter mark was used in the 18th century and again from 1870 until today.
In any case the price you paid was very good.

I think the seller with the identical plate is wrong. Stair said the plates were 18th c. and I agree.
Here's why: the blue scepter seen matches the design of the scepter used in the 18th century; the scepter used in the early 20th c. has a diagonal cross mark in the middle. Also it was paired with other marks, usually the orb, stamped in red or green.
The KPM web site notes: "Since 1803, decorated porcelain has also been marked with a painting mark. Today this stamp in the shape of an imperial orb is usually placed next to the scepter. Depending on the type of decoration, the painting signet is applied in different colors."

I found other web sites that confirm this. i can share them if you like.
Here at Christie's is a set of plates with the same trim decoration although different shaped edges. Description notes that they are marked with the blue scepter with impressed number just like the ones from Stair.
