@xin_fawis The example on the Gaurdian is beautiful, but falls far short of the exhibition pair, which is AMAZING! My guess is that I'd have to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of half a million USD for a similar pair...perhaps more.
Let me look in my piggy bank and see if I have that.... nope. 🤣
Alternatively you can look for a 19/20th pair. It seems like a lot of material sold as 19/20th these days actually turns out to be period material upon closer inspection.
Have you guys seen that the pair sold as Ming at Guardian has previously been sold at Chistie's as 20th century for only £16k?
