This blue and white vase is definitly 19th C. (maybe Guangxu) piece. Look at the faces of all figures, there are all wide and fat.
The cobalt blue and brush strokes are so typical for this time. The dealer is right.

Thank you Xin_FAWIS
I greatly appreciate your appraisal. I too think it is a beautiful Vase and is very large. I will let it float away.
I found a similar item to the Opening Post.

if you can get it cheaply , the tongzhi marked bowl is quite nice , but I wouldn't personally pay more than about £30, inc postage. It's a nice shape but quite small. The enamels are rubbed and not the finest decoration or painting. And there is a chip. It's also a standard export piece , so not very desirable to chinese buyers when you come to resell.
tam
the triangular dish is well-decorated, but part of a set of 'sweet meat ' dishes that interlocked , and the set has been broken up or lost. On its own the dish is not so interesting , and the hexagonal dish , I think , is not worth bothering about - decoration is just ok, and the blue colour is very weak, imo.
tam
Thanks Tam,
The Tongzhi is not bad. I could certainly get it under £30 + postage. I do not think it will go that high. I was not going to get it.
There seems to be lots of these dishes on ebay at the moment. If anyone has an interest in these dishes, they are spoilt for choice.

this last one , the square plate , is more interesting , nicely painted in copper red , and possibly older than the others, it looks C18th to me. Again it is small , which is a shame, but quite a rare thing. It's a nice price now , with one day left

Hello,
I have browsed the sellers stock, quite a lot of Chinese stuff on offer. Most of it quite damaged but not everything that bad. There is a Kangxi plate I like: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Good-Antique-Export-Chinese-Plate-Iron-Red-Flowers-Incense-Burner/183445091815?hash=item2ab62df5e7:g:PowAAOSwAqFbpARg
What is intriguing the most is this:
I have some doubts if it is genuine. What are your thoughts?
Many thanks
Adrian

hi Adrian , I think the chinese C18th imari style plate is very nice, if you can live with the hairline. It shouldn't go too high in price. Not sure whether it's lost its gilding or never had any, or maybe it has become dull and worn.
The ming marked bowl looks suspect to me - the footrim and base don't look old, or 'ming like' and the interior dragon has a strange nose/face. Also there's a big chip missing from the rim, which is hard and costly to restore. . Just my thoughts.
tam
Just seen the nose, that is odd - almost human! The tail looks like it has been cut off at the end and aren't the claws usually held in a circle shape?
I can't really comment as I don't know enough but I would say that I haven't seen that shape before. If it is genuine, then I have learnt something new.
Julia
Here is a strange plate. I just get a 1965 vibe from it.
Julia & Tam,
Thank you very much for your views. Last night when I was browsing that items I was absolutely wasted after the whole week of work and I think my perception was blurred. Today I look at the bowl again and I find it appalling, especially the dragon and the figures on the outside. That's gotta be 100% fake.
Thank you one more time for raising my awareness.
Regards,
Adrian

Glad to have helped. I have to say I am not feeling 100% and this thread is making me feel blurred! I think I have lost track what it is about. ? ? Ebay isn't helping, changing pictures all the time.
ShortDong, as Tam says, that is a Japanese plate the blue circle close against the inside of the foot rim is usually an indication of Japanese origin . I can't see the mark clearly, but would think this could be early 20th c.
