It would appear that most of the items listed in the Asian section are mostly new or modern.
However that does not automatically rule them out for profit. I note that items are to be sold without reserve. If you can buy said items for a couple of dollars each and or thereabouts you can sell them later at a nice profit, assuming you have space.

Listed as Qing plates, look like orange peel Yong famille
can't see these clearly , again, because of the reflections, but seem to be canton famille rose , just with a different border; you would need to check the base and foot , but they look C19th maybe. If they were C18th they would be surely worth buying , but I don't think so.
Still you get nine pieces and they look nice , and may be in very good condition , so if cheap maybe worth a shot. I'd be interested to know what they bring in the end .,my guess would be 200-300 euros.
Orange peel is a characteristic of C19th porcelain more than earlier stuff, I believe.

These Qing plates remind me strongly of a square Daoguang plate around 1830 I have: the painting style, the orange peel surface, the heavy potting. I would definitely grab them if they're affordable.

Thanks Short Dong. The rim is more elaborate than on the auction plates, but the painting of the figures is similar. Those pieces are nice export quality, they were the precursor of the rose mandarin pattern.

If the price is reasonable you may pick yourself a winner. From said picture's they appear to be OK damagewise, although it is difficult to tell

Well I think the Antiques market has picked up. Prices went very high on many items.
The Umbrella stand went for £20
The Qing plates went for a whopping £2,600 and there was time you could grab then for £300 - £400.
The Japanese Meiji vase went for over £60
The Rubbish Canton went for £110 along with my much desired 18th Mandarin meat dish.
The Pencil jar went for a reasonable £30
Wow, I had expected something around 800 GBP for the Qing plates, but 2600 is astonishing. However it’s not that much for the single plate, I counted 15 of them. Thanks for your feedback from the auction! Did you buy anything?

Yes I did 🙂 But not anything in Asian Art.
I got a very large framed 19th century oil painting and a small painting.
I got this for mainly because the Frame is so ornate. Also the scenery is in Wicklow where I was born.
I never got near those Qing plates. Even £300 was nothing in the bids.
I got these for 5 euro. Just right for the bookcase. I struggled to get anything in the Porcelain. Although some nice Chelsea went cheap.

thanks for posting the results, short dong, yes £2600 is a lot for that export set (I was way out on my guess) , but I suppose they were in unusually good condition , and it's rare to find so many from the same set. Also the painting of the figures was good , and the decoration wasn't over-busy , like so many export wares.
