Had a couple of interesting days last week, the results are the 4 items in the pictures. Two of them are Qianlong (the creamer and the "chocolate" pot), the vase is probably kangxi, but I haven't seen this kind of blue and white with gilt decoration on this type of vase before, and the small greenish (I don't think it is celadon, but rather a monochrome) bowl is a bit of a mystery. It doesn't look brand new, but unsure how old it might in fact be. I will be posting further pictures in the identification forum, as this is not an ID thread 🙂 Thought I should share!

Hi!....This is one of my newest Estate sale purchases......I thought they were pretty so I bought them....
So today i purchased my first Ming piece , Nice blue and white Min yao bowl with horse and rider decoration , Not the best piece of Ming porcelain i hope to buy but my first piece and i should learn from it.
Better pictures can be added when the bowl arrives if needed.

£100 ,I am not sure if Ming Min Yao are worth collecting from an investment point of view but they are getting bought up so the reasonable prices may not last forever.

Carl, as others have mentioned, it is a very nice bowle and as you have discovered, for those of us with out deep pockets, provincial Ming has excellent value. It has the magical Ming label, for the average non antique person, it has a bit of a wow factor. And at the least it is 400 years old, that’s Penney’s per year.
