Basic Rules For the BidAmount Asian Art Forum: Talk about whatever you want. You can even discuss and offer things that are for sale if they are authentic. Maximum image file size per post is 2 MB. Images of 700pxl x 700pxl are optimal if saved at a medium resolution. Be respectful of others and enjoy yourself. Click the YouTube link for a brief tutorial on using the forum. You can also EMBED Videos by cutting and pasting from You-Tube, Vimeo etc.

I would like to take part as well. Instead of a time out may I take a demerit for the following question? Will starting bid prices be published once the sale officially starts?
I may be one of the few here who have been to Palatka or at least through it.
@opal26 There will be a handful or less items that have a reserve, and the reserve will not be disclosed, but it won’t be astronomical either.
Otherwise, every piece that receives a bid will sell to the highest bidder.
So, if the high bid is $1.00, then good for that bidder for taking a shot!
Certainly I hope to make a few bucks on this sale, but it’s not my top goal. I’ve just over collected, I’m going to sell my house, and for me, it just doesn’t make sense to just keep everything stored in boxes until the day I die.
Since this is my first sale in this format, I’m testing the waters with items are that are imperfect, but not all. Many are in perfect, or near perfect condition, but regardless, I think all are quite beautiful examples and worthy of collectors.
I wish you all the best in your auction. I am using a company called "Maxsold" in Ontario Canada to catalogue, photograph and sell some of my pieces along with other items.
It has been successful in the past.

Hello everyone! It took me a day longer, but ALL photos buckets and descriptions/condition reports are up!
I would appreciate if anyone comes across a problem accessing photos or if you don't understand how to access the sale, that you please let me know.

I hope everyone walk away with a good buy at a good price. And, if nothing in this sale interests you, just hang on a couple of months. I have more items to come. I just want to make sure the experience is good for both buyers and myself.

@imperialfinegems Each image has a description (caption) .... if you click 'read more' then it will open the full description of the item, including a web address to the photo bucket for the item.
Some nice things and really good pictures too. I’m not sure yet if I will bid because of the overseas shipping costs. Two stupid questions that have most probably been answered somewhere: Do I bid via the „ask a question“ button? And when can I start to leave a bid?

@shinigami Yes, bid by the ask s question, but I think I’m going to list my email and WeChat … the easier To make bidding, the better.
And, yes, send a bid whenever your ready. It’s a silent bid… nobody will know but me. You can always change or withdraw your bid up to the end of the sale if you have a change of heart.
