@Greeno107,

Here is the only fabienne Jouvin piece I currently own. An original (not the Chinese knockoff) Puyi lidded bottle.

I bought this from a collector that had the original receipts etc.

Here's one I picked up not too long ago. I think it has very nice shading. From what I can tell the pink ground seems like it might have been used less often. At any rate, the color is growing on me. It's a snappy little vase. John

Very nice and unusual coloring. Love it btw. Looks to be early 20th century.

Who was it that posted that nice little cloisonne vase with Buddhist lions that I said was late Ming - early Qing, but Peter felt was early 2oth c.?

There was some discussion about the use of pink enamel being found in later pieces.  I just wanted to share a link to a Yongzheng vase sold by Christie's that uses pink.  So, yes, pink is most likely not found in Ming cloisonne wares, but I think early to Mid Qing is still a possibiilty.

@greeno107 I am thinking it might have been more about the particular tone of pink that indicates the date rather than the absence of it altogether, but there was probably room for different interpretations.

Lovely, rather glacial colour, makes me think of cracked ice.
