In another thread, a few weeks ago, I suggested someone's vase (Doug?) might be Jingfa, then later I said it could equally be Zi Jin Cheng as they are so similar. That started me wondering if they were the same company and I have just read that they are indeed brand names of the same Beijing Enamel Company. Sorry for any confusion, I did suspect they may be the same, but if that were wrong it would have been wrong to suggest it.
Anyhow, my question is does anyone know of any other studio/factory producing work over the last 50 years or maybe a bit longer?
I am trying to work out whose mark appears on the base of a vase I am thinking of buying which I think is Chinese. I can't post the image for some reason, will try tomorrow.

Just bought a large collection of cloisonne. Got some nice items, including this one, which I just thought I'd share to bring our cloisonne topic back up top. I thought it was a nice little example of Meiji Japanese work and it's in perfect condition, so that's always a good thing. Cheers! John
@julia Close to 30 pieces. I kind of stumbled onto the whole lot - it wasn't advertised but after buying one piece from the online seller they revealed they had a bunch more so I asked for pictures and couldn't believe it when they sent me shots of everything they had. At first I wanted to pick and choose but it got too cumbersome so we just did a deal for the whole lot. I didn't really have very good pictures to go on either, so I wasn't entirely clear on quality and condition for most of them. But I could see enough to know there was some great potential. In the end the condition was mostly great, but of course there were some with minor damage. But I was actually quite happy in that regard because I really didn't know what to expect. I also got a few other non-cloisonne items, like the possibly Kangxi revival jar I posted the other day. I think they had gotten the whole collection when they bought an abandoned storage locker or something like that, and I got the sense they just wanted the stuff out of their house. There are about a half dozen that I like quite a bit. One might have some significant potential. It has some minor damage, but it is in the style of Yasuyuki. It isn't marked, and so it might not be by him, but either way it's got quite a presence. I'll probably post pictures of it after I do a little more research. Apparently the seller has more pieces somewhere but they were in the process of trying to locate them - they were lost in storage or something. They will let me know if and when they find them and so I may end up with more. In the meantime, here is another one that I think is quite lovely:

@julia I'm glad you enjoyed it as I did. I basically came away feeling that the pieces he made would be among some of the greatest artistic masterpieces ever created by humankind, and seem undervalued, even the pieces that bring six figures. To my mind they should surely be worth many millions given everything that went into creating them.
