Ok guys what everyone opinion? The official kiln was destroyed in xianfeng & tongzhi but in xianfeng 6th year they made a qianjiang tile. Also many of provanal(spell check) & private kiln jingdezhen wasn't the only kiln. Many folk kiln was out & made. Tongzhi had official bday plates made those are official. Can you really see xianfeng & tongzhi period not making 1 single porcelain? I can't gasped that knowing others kiln. Now the bowl is mine & is painted very good for its size & painted good not as fine in Sotheby's but good. I have a real guangxu period plate with a central dragon & ball as well but the ball is not as good as this dish. The books always talk about this & that never minyao ware like this well the ones i own. I need opinion because I think is 1874/1880s I refuse to say late qing in dating. Late qing seems to me to easy to date a hard items they even had a period

A hand-drawn Tongzhi mark is generally considered as a positive sign for these pieces being of the period. Or has that changed?
@julia Theory could be considered made in guangxu even the stamps ones. 🤔 I think m&p or the end of of tongzhi period. Others have different reason I made this post to see what ppl have to say about it. Kinda of big debut about this.
This m&p but what about those dishes & colorful bowls that handwritten?

Firstly welcome to this great forum.
Your dish is beautiful!
This Ball design was both popular during the Tongzhi and Guangxu period. Your one is particularly better designed in the central design than most I have seen.
The mark being hand-written is highly indicative of m&p. Most but not all Guangxu examples were stamped. Stamped porcelain started in about 1870. So later part of the Tongzhi period. But when exactly it stated is still up for discussion.
The way that the seal mark is written is from what I have seen only mainly seen on m&p. But that doesn't mean that it wasn't also used during the early Guangxu period.
The paste is a pure white found in both reigns. But perhaps more so during the Guangxu period. Most Tongzhi period was a washed out off-white paste. Obviously the higher quality porcelain was a pure white. So not much help here because your bowl is of a higher quality than most.
The later part of the Daoguang period through to the Tongzhi period was a very turbulent time in China with the opium war's.
There are a couple of iron spots on the base. Although not defining it does point more to Guangxu period rather than Tongzhi.
If the base footrim is very smooth to run your finger along then its highly probable to be Gaungxu period. If its rough then it's more than likely Tongzhi period.
This only occured during the late Daoguang period through to the Tongzhi period. It was a common problem that was finally rectified during the early Guangxu period. But we don't know which year.
But not all the porcelain made during the mid 19th century had this problem with the footrim. Just most.
If the footrim is rough to touch them it's definitely Tongzhi period. If its smooth then early Guangxu period.
Tongzhi marks were very popular during the Guangxu period. Most of the porcelain one sees marked Tongzhi is from the Guangxu period. Hence Guangxu marks were very popular during the Republic period rather than Tongzhi marks.
My personal feeling based purely on your images is its late Tongzhi m&p circa 1870.
