@xin_fawis thank you for the feedback, it has divided many people at the moment. Some saying that it could be some saying it's not but old some saying new. Regarding the glazing, someone from another forum said that it does not matter showing an example of a pcs in the Beijing Museum. The shape you may have a point.

@xin_fawis these are some of the replies..they are not members of this forum and I have not told them anything about it except showing the photos and videos. Both deal with Chinese ceramic in Asia. Ofc they haven't physically held in their hand to know for sure.

Well, first please be ware, a lot of documentary films from China are not done by professionals, professionals I mean procelain experts. I have watched a lot of them. Many used wrong pictures or wrong pictures at the wrong moment in the film. So it's important to study using professional literature.
I know. Your cup is a hard case for a lot of people. I have seen many Yaozhou pieces. It's one of my favourite kiln. Longquan kiln too. Compare with examples I know, yours is not of this kind. Each period has its style. If you study Song ceramics, you would not find the shape your cup has. You may find this shape more on Ming, Qing or later pieces. The material or the body give us also many information. You see it on the foot rim. Yaozhou pieces have a clear flat cut, it's typical for Yaozhou.

I don't think it's new. Could be from old Japanese kilns or Chinese Ming or later. Hard to say without handling personally.

@xin_fawis thank you for the detailed feedback. Yes, when it comes to shape is questionable as I have been doing a little more research and found that is not the same. Although not many cups examples out there and yes you are right and sometimes they have reproductions in some museums.

Is the division that has created some more confusion, I am moving to China next year and need to know if i should take it with me or leave it with family in Europe due to the rules there.

I would suggest you to contact renowned dealers in your country. They may give you some ideas. I don't think you need to take it to China to find out what it is. You would not have problems with the customers, but wrong experts or dealers.

@xin_fawis I am actually moving to China for 3 years in 2022 for family-related. So I am going through what I have to make sure I don't fall under custom rules when I am about to leave in 2025. I am currently in Brussels, Belgium, most auction houses are flooded with information and you never get a reply.
Cultural objects and China export restrictions
Export forbidden:
- Antiques made 1911 or earlier
- Cultural products of minorities made 1949 or earlier
- Export restrictions are mainly meant for genuine antiques -- however replicas that have research value or a high artistic value can also be restricted.
- If the export is allowed but another government department has other related regulations regarding prohibited items of export, those regulations will be followed.
