@brusselsprouts The photos show the wood to be hongmu (suanzhi), so besides being a stunning looking piece, I would say that if you plan to sell it, you might be best to put it into auction to achieve the highest result.
There is no comparable piece that I could provide an accurate fair market value, but to clarify my initial comment of being potentially worth in the tens of thousands of USD, I think the lower end of that spectrum makes sense at a good auction house. Naturally, a low auction estimate would be recommended if you want a lot of bidding to help drive up the sale.

It's an absolutely stunning piece you have provided additional pictures of.
I agree with greeno107. It does look very much like Hongmu wood and would likely date to the late Qing period. It looks to be in exceptional condition.
As to value I have no idea but defer to greeno107 experience. Its certainly a well-made piece and therefore not cheap.

Thank you for going to so much trouble uploading the additional photo's. Think Greeno107 said it all with his "Wow !" comment. Agree with Mark and Greeno's thoughts as to the timber. The fact that this screen has survived in tact marks it out as something very special. As far as value is concerned think it is uncharted territory don't think a complete carving such as this has come to market for a very long time. It would be great if George @gfhandel pops in and can translate the script we may then have a place of origin and a more definate date. With that large roundel, Dragons, Pair of Dogs, and The Buddha in various incantations think it has the potential to bring a very high price indeed as advised above would need to be sold at the right place with the right marketing. Would make a fantastic entrance to a museum or gallery.

@green107 thank you for identifying the wood. There is an interested party, but we haven’t decided what to do with it just yet. If we decide to sell it, we’ll consider going through an auction house.
