I think the first 3 are all said to be Qianlong - I can't get to the source of the 4th but it appears a copy of the first? The last one is more like the ones Vic has posted but is a tazza dated 1870.Sorry, I just can't get the first to load so it is on the next page!
This is the tazza, right? It looks like the Christie's tazzas from the Reagan collection, and are identical to the pattern on my teapot. If the date is given as 1870, then my teapot is likely from that same time period? How did they come to that date? Is it from a dated armourial set or is there some other documentation as to the dating?

Sorry about all those questions, I found the website and can see that there isn't much additional information, unfortunately. 🙁 I might write them and ask if they have some source material on the pattern.

Sorry, I was so busy finding pictures that I didn't think to save the web addresses - glad you found it. It certainly looks as as though more than three versions were made. For me, the 18th c ones are most likely the three with the bianca-sopra-bianca borders. If the tazza were one of this manufacture, I feel it would be likely to have the same border.
There is the possibility that the website got the date letters the wrong way round - so 1780 instead? This is the only one with a suggestion of a later date and it looks to fit with that date. Did the Chinese make this kind of dish with their 18th c dinner services? I haven't taken notice, so can't judge.
I am as puzzled as you, if you find anything, please let us know.
I was catching up on Peter's videos, when this showed up, back in April:
Same shape, different decoration, also a large number of holes inside to the sprout.
Sorry about ebay messing up the listing name... I do not know how to link to it without it doing THAT. 🙁

I am pretty sure that many holes were definitely the style by the late 19th c. Obviously the spout size/shape changed too and enabled more holes. I wonder if there is a practical tea-related reason for that? I don't drink tea so don't really understand how it works.
For reference, I have just come across another variation of this pattern, dated as Qianlong in He Li's Chinese Ceramics. The picture is fairly small so not easy to photograph.

The art of calligraphy - and for the ancient Chinese it certainly was an art - aimed to demonstrate superior control and skill using brush and ink.
