That is what the Mark was telling me but i have never seen anything like this before from Japanese but i have a relatively modest exposure to work from.
The faces are similar to the ones from the dancers and musicians we recently saw on another plate. Apart from that I know nothing about it, but it looks quite nice to me with tasteful colors. I would like to buy it myself, but have already too much stuff.

Could it be a Yokohama 'chinese copy' export ...So then pre WW2
Well I wont be out bidding you, I am tight fisted and to be fair to myself exceptionally prudent with my cash but £15 seems okay for this plate. However I am still not sure what it is

Do you think it was Antique, I would guess 1930's but it's a wild guess but price wise £19 seems quite reasonable
Nice appealing dish. Japanese and would date in probability to early 20th century.
Not expensive, given that it appears to be without damage.

also there is this plate. I wonder if anyone knows what it is
the second flower basket plate is probably chinese but C20th in my opinion, colours are not good and the painting is just average , not very refined. It's damaged too.
