Images of 700pxl x 700pxl are optimal if saved at a medium resolution. Be respectful of others and enjoy yourself. Click the YouTube link for a brief tutorial on using the forum. You can also EMBED Videos by cutting and pasting from You-Tube, Vimeo etc.

@lotusblack I'm not sure if the final number has been decided yet because a few other comps were being looked at, but I think they will have a very reasonable estimate to encourage bidding and then let the market decide. That seems to be the approach Freeman's likes to take which is fine with me. At any rate I'm glad you are interested in them. I'm curious to know what the piece is you are selling in that sale? There is one other forum member I know of selling something in there as well, so that makes at least three of us. I actually have four lots so I am very excited for it. It will be neat to see once they get the sale pictures up online. Once that happens we can all share links to our lots. Hopefully we will all have great sales results! John

I’m sending a vase to them to test the waters see how it goes. But hey they are getting the bidamount market we hunt the country only a matter of time someone finds the million dollar vase. Oh as for your vases It will be a honest lot when bidding.

wish it was my jun bowl at Sotheby’s... I suspect not. What did you ever do with that floral and gilt bowl? In my head that’d be the multi million dollar piece.it made me try harder… this forum makes me try harder….

Thank you… I do hope so, that beautiful bowl deserves the attention, the love I cannot give it, given the hard times the last few years have presented me with... But the nihilist in me thinks I could do better…. Haha, unlikely. I think at the end of the day we “collectively, this forum is a good example” find and prosper. We are finders, we see the beautiful way the glaze drips and melts and how it creates creatures and flowers and life. These things were fleeting for many, for us they are collectible.
Seems sad now that I say it out loud.

@jbeer2121 This collecting and dealing journey is certainly full of experiences that can encourage great reflections about life if one is open to that sort of thing. Like my guru says, what you gather can be yours, but it cannot be you. While these things carry an essence of who created and cared for them, and we have relationships with them for a time that can greatly enhance our life experience with their beauty, ultimately we will have to let them go, just like everything else in this physical world. I find it to be a very spiritual practice the more I get into it. What we decide to hold onto or let go of is a most interesting process.

@greeno107 Thanks, Tim! I was happy with the results. I find Freemans nice to work with. Ben Farina and the other staff are competent, efficient, and pleasant. I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future.
