I would tread very carefully with the 'chicken skin' jade example.
My personal feeling is that it is a high end copy.
These really need to be examined in person rather than by way of pictures.
I am always very suspicious of the these archaic carving especially when I see perfect circles and curves which are very difficult to cut using the old system but very easy with modern tools.
There also appears to be tiny chipping on either sides in some but not all of the lines which would indicate a high speed tool.

Yes, I partly agree that the "ji gu bai" (chicken bone white) broken cup might be suspicious.
I bought it when i trust a "friend-expert" (who is more expert in ceramics of Song) and his judgment on the wears of jade as decisive bar on authentication.

The inside looks like it was cut with a diamond coring tool. If it were real, surely they would have finished it better?
the diffficulty of authenticating early jade wares lies in lack of comparison. such cups only have around five pieces in documented official excavation. you could not handle the comparison in hand. any conjecture is somehow rootless.
