Hello, they didn’t evaluate it, but the Chinese themselves, when they saw the bone, offered different prices. But we do not sell the bone, as it is a family memory. But everyone who saw this bone said that this is one of the most beautiful old bones. Museum exhibit....
Has anyone read Journey to the West? Is there a scene of Sun Wukong meeting with the immortal Ma Gu in this novel? Maybe the scene on the bone is taken from the novel "Journey to the West"? Because we had the name of the bone "Gift of Ukun" written down. Depicted on his knee bringing a peach as a gift is Sun Wukong ..

Can a bone be made in the imperial workshops?
I have no idea, unfortunately I don't think many of us know much about this subject. Have you tried posting it on other sites or asking an expert at one of the main auction houses? Apologies if I have said that before. If you don't mind paying a small fee, you could ask Peter and maybe he will know of someone if he can't help you himself.
We talked to many people about the bone and turned to the Hermitage Museum. They agree that the bone is at least the middle of the 19th century, and maybe even earlier. The carving is very intricate. It is also possible that the stone is imperial. Moreover, it has an interesting history. Again, a similar bone was sold at Christie's auction. She's just amazing live!
