He looks to have a nice colour. Do you sell in a a shop where there are lots of dealers in the one place and the shop owner manages the sales? Sorry, I don't know what that set-up is called, although I should do as there were loads where I used to live in the UK.
@julia Right now I'm working on improving my inventory. I used to sell out of my sister's store, but she not longer rents the space. I've spoken to some of the group stores about renting, but Im out of town too frequently to do that right now.
Most of the shops that are set up like that just call themselves antique stores. You really only know if it's a single owner or a group situation after you walk in. In my experience, good items can be found in both types. The town that I live in doesnt have a high end gallery, but I hope it does one day.

@imperialfinegems It isnt marked. I did have it reviewed by Peter before I bought it, and the quality and style is in line with verified examples. I dont necessarily buy Meiji for the period, but I think it is from that time.

Most definitely from the Meiji period and good quality.
I did try and buy one recently that was signed and 56cm high.

I like them quite a bit. I noticed the metal work from the Taisho period looks more "stamped out," but I think if the quality were comparable, I wouldnt mind if it were newer.

No, I just wanted to try something other than taking pictures to mix it up.
I had tried buying a new camera yesterday, but the best buy guy said that I pretty much couldnt get anything better than my camera phone for less than 400 dollars, so Im sticking with what I have for now.
I did buy a tripod, which helps. Just not a very good photographer.
