The brush washer is Republic period.
The second one in the video is Post republic period. So PRoC.
The third lot of four Jade's was a good buy. The toggle with the foo lion or other is very desirable because of the colour.
I would need better images of the four because I couldn't see them properly. Hence I respectfully reserve my opinion

Thank you for your additional images.
The first one is a 20th century carving.
The second one being the pebble is late Qing period.
The third one looks to be 19th Century. Very nice carving and very desirable. Pity about the missing foot.
The last one being the jade elephant is inconclusive based on your images. These were as stated by Peter made during the Ming period. But they were also heavily copied later etc.

Thanks Mark. Do you think the goose is first half or second half of the 20th century?
The elephant, Im tentatively sticking with Ming dating because I have Doyle and Peter behind it, but I can see how the doubt could still turn people off in the jade category more than others.
I really bought these for the lion.
The goose is from the mid 20th century onwards and not before in my opinion.
That's based on that the Chinese carvers didn't have access to electrical drilling etc. There is evidence imo of said on the goose. At first glance it looks late Qing. But on closer examination it's not.
Its difficult sometimes with pictures etc etc. Case in point is the elephant carving. Parts look Ming... Some areas do not. This would need to be handled in person.
But overall you got yourself a good deal.

I think I got a good deal too. It seems that, undamaged, the lion toggle could have gone for five figures at sothebys. It's crazy that something can go from 10,000 to under 100 due to damage. I feel the same way about my suzuribako box that I posted a while ago. Both pieces fit comfortably in the "fine" category.
