A large Yaozhou teabowl of conical shape – Northern Song dynasty
Period: Northern Song dynasty (960-1127 AD)
Size: Height 4.8 cm, diameter 13.5 cm
Condition: Excellent condition, light surface scratches and small firing flaws.
Provenance: From a Swedish private collection
References: A very similar bowl was found in the tomb of the Princess of State Chen, Inner Mongolia, which could be dated to the seventh year of Kaitai (1018). It is illustrated in “Dated ceramics of Song, Liao, and Jin Periods”, LIUTAO, Cultural Relics Publishing House, Beijing, 2004, pl. 2-3.

New Blue&White additions in the store dating from Ming and Qing dynasties.
A Korean celadon deep bowl – Goreyo Dynasty
The bowl has deep rounded sides rising from a short foot. It is covered overall with a dark green glaze turning bluish grey in certain areas. There are some kiln grit adhesions to the base, which is typical of Korean celadon from this period.
Period: Goreyo Dynasty (AD 918-1392), 12th Century
Size: Height 7.8 cm, diameter 16.5 cm
Condition: Good condition, wear consistent with age and some fire impurities to the glaze, a few insignificant chips to the foot ring

A rare Qingbai “Duomu” ewer - Yuan Dynasty
Period: Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368)
Size: Height 12.7 cm, Diameter of base 5.8 cm,
Condition: Good condition, wear consistent with age, minor chips to the rear stopper of the mouth, crack to the base probably from manufacture.
Provenance: From a private collection brought together by a Swedish Connoisseur of Art. Making a career first at SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooporation Agency) and then later, he had a long career with the United Nations where he came to work mostly in Sweden, Iran, India, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and New York for close to 30 years.
References: A larger ewer of this shape was excavated from the Yuantuo tomb in Longtan Lake, Chongwen district, and is illustrated in Complete Collection of Ceramic Art unearthed in China - Beijing, Zhang Bai, Science Press, Bejing, 2008, Plate 83.

I am selling this carved Longquan celadon bowl dating to late Northern Song or early Southern Song.
Period: Song dynasty - 12th century

A fine Longquan celadon brush washer - Yuan Dynasty. This particular shape is sometimes referred to as “bamboo” design or “sugar cane” design.

Condition: Excellent condition, minor wear and fire impurities, minor crazing

There is a comparable washer in Metropolitan Museum, New York, with an incised lotus design to the interior.
Another similar washer was sold at Sothebys, London, in 2018.

Another Longquan celadon brush washer of “bamboo” design in store. Different glaze quality than the other one, but same lovely shape and more affordable.

Condition: Good condition, minor wear and fire impurities, crazing, small area of glaze loss/chip to the bottom (see pictures), glaze slightly dull.

Condition: Good condition considering age, glaze condition is very good, wear and firing flaws, three restored sections to the rim and two repairs to the handle (see pictures with UV-light).

A Canton famille rose punch bowl – Daoguang period
Period: Daoguang (1820-1850)
Size: Dia. 36.7 cm, height 15.5 cm
Condition: Good condition, surface scratches and customary wear to the gilding and enamels, small hairline crack going down from the rim approx. 3 cm long (see pictures), two figures partly repainted (see pictures) but no restoration or further damages detected with UV-light. Nice ring tone when tapping it with a finger.
