Size: Dia. 15.5 cm, height 4.8 cm
Condition: Very good condition, wear, especially in the well, minor firing flaws, some grit attached to the base and the outside body. No visible cracks or repairs.
Provenance: From a private collection brought together by a Swedish Connoisseur of Art. Making a career first at SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooporation Agency) and then later, he had a long career with the United Nations where he came to work mostly in Sweden, Iran, India, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and New York for close to 30 years.

Condition: Very good condition, wear consistent with age and use, firing flaws and impurities to the glaze. No cracks or repairs.
Provenance: Earlier in the collection of Stig Bojling, Sweden, amassed during the 1960s-1990s.

Condition: For a detailed condition report see my website. To summarize, the jar is in good condition, with a few parts of the extremities to the dragon’s body missing, and the cover is in poor condition as can be seen in the pictures.
Provenance: From a Swedish private collection, Sold at Antik-Anders Auktioner (now Skånes Auktionsverk) in 2003, a sticker from Chinoise Tonying, Paris to the base (Antique business established in Paris in 1902 by Zhang Renjie).

Provenance: From the collection of Johan Lilliehöök (1865‑1949), thence by descent. Johan Lilliehöök was a Swedish lawyer and diplomat. He was posted in Shanghai 1922‑1932 as the Swedish consul general and his Chinese collection was acquired at that time.

Provenance: From the collection Johanne Huitfeldt (1932-2023) who was a well-known Norwegian art historian and curator at the Norwegian Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. She took a special interest in East Asian Art, and it was due to her that the museum in Oslo got a permanent exhibition of East Asian art and crafts in 1983.

Period: Northern Song dynasty (960-1127)
Size: Height 26 cm
Condition: Good condition. Surface wear. Some glaze losses/peeling, primarily around the foot and lower body, but also to the upper body, the handles and the rim. Small chips to the rim. Small hairline crack running from the rim, only detectable with UV-light (see pictures). Crazing and glaze cracks.

A Dehua Gu -shaped vase – Mid- 17th Century
Period: Mid- 17th Century
Size: Height 22.6 cm, diameter of mouth 13.5 cm
Condition: Excellent condition, light wear and minor firing impurities, no visible cracks or repairs. A number has been written on the footring with a UV-marker (see picture).
Provenance: From the collection of Christine Carlsson, who died 1938, married to a British consul in Hong Kong, who died 1933, thence by descent.

Condition: Very good condition, wear and minor firing impurities, no visible cracks or repairs. Glaze slightly matt, possibly from burial or exposure to sea water.
