I see there is a box accompanying the Cup and Saucer. How does one win the box 🙂 if they only get one set.
Hi Short ? , yes a small amount for sure. I wanted to get some items up for the eBay promotion but didn't have enough time to take more photos ? . Still quite an interesting little bunch.
Unfortunately the box is not included in the sale, I like to use them for storage but also to prop up items such as saucers for photos.

The Kangxi "pie-crust rim" charger is quite lovely! It's a bit beyond my budget though! Whoever buys it will have a splendid piece!

Thank you Errol, a nice piece indeed. The top price is fairly high for sure, for me it is rare as the condition is good and it is quite a large example, I hope it will find a buyer looking for this sort of thing who is ok paying a fair price. I would consider offers of course.

I hope your sales do well for you. Your Kangxi charger is a fine one, as others have noted, and the items you have listed are authentic. As an honest dealer, you deserve to prosper. It makes a refreshing change on eBay where so many are not.

Regarding your Kangxi charger, you have competition at least through Monday for a larger Kangxi charger offered at auction by Chamerberlain Antiques (juice1499 on eBay). His charger measures 16.25" versus yours at about 14.9 inches. Josh's has some old damage that has been restored quite well. Josh's also has the Yamanaka company label on the foot to help with provenance. Josh's charger is up to $975 with about 3 days to go on the auction. The price he gets should help you determine whether your price of about 4,500 GBP is one the market will bear. I'm attaching Josh's charger immediately below with yours below that so that forum members can do a comparison.

I think it is hard to say that one is nicer than he other. I would not mind owning both although I have run out of good places to display such large items.

The large Kangxi charger offered by Chamberlain Antiques (juice1499 on eBay) sold at auction for about $1,355 (USD). See item photograph above and LINK .

A broken item is generally worth 1/10th value if that, unless it is particularly rare.
The one on offer from Alfred is a very nice example period.
The one from Chamberlain was also nice example but as already stated it was damaged. 1/10 may be harsh given the Provence attached.

The provenance is brilliant indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if someone would want to buy the sticker on it's own for less than innocent purposes ?
