Images 10-12; Xuande mark/period blue/white reserved-decorated peony dish …

Thank you very much, Stuart!  I like that peony dish and what a rather magnificent horse in the last but one photo.

How lucky you are to have been able to view up close and handle those objects!  So few of us ever get that privilege in our collecting endeavors.

@ming1449

Boy, that immortals jar sure has been copied many times! There's even a new copy for sale right now on Live Auctioneers. It's interesting to compare the two.

Thanks for sharing. I am jealous!

Steve

@charlotte

Hi Charlotte,

I'd like to but the last time I shared a fake piece of porcelain for educational purposes I was rebuked in no uncertain terms by a couple people here, including the moderator. So, I should probably ask permission from @plcombs. If so, then I would be happy to. 🙂

@charlotte

My pleasure.

If you go to Liveauctioneers and search for Chinese blue and white porcelain, you should be able to find it in a few pages.
