Dear all,
here is the book I use for reference. It is a exhibition catalogue from a museum nearby, but I think it can be purchased online as well.
It shows a large variety of styles and covers most of the known artists. Moreover I´d like to share the mark of my flower vase. If someone nows the maker, please let me know.

I am trying to find when this type of cloisonné was used by the Chinese as I believe it’s no Japanese. The wire has been gilded and burnished which burnishing was used during 18/19 century but I don’t see and cloisonné of this style until late 19 up until mid 20th century. Any information on this would be appreciated

Plique à jour seems to have become popular again around the second half 18th c. My feeling is it was taken up maybe by Japan and China around then,, too. I don't recall seeing any older pieces from those countries.

If there are older pieces, Christies etc would possibly have been selling them so you could do a search on Chinese plique à jour Christies or Sothebys etc.
As far as I know, this style of plique a jour is Chinese and was made in the 20. century. Here in Germany those bowls are seen relatively often. I suggest that most of them were made in the 50s - 70s when there was a high demand for "asian lifestyle" pieces.

Here is the Wikipedia page. Says it regained popularity late 19th c, including Japan in later Meiji but no specific mention of China.
I think Robin may be correct as the only Chinese pieces I have found online are vintage.
I think she is right also vintage tourists piece is what I’m thinking.
I don't think you will find any chinese pligue-a-jour prior to early to mid 20th century.
The Japanese did start producing these specialized pieces around the end of the 19th century. After apparently one master was visiting a show and saw some examples I believe from Faberge.
For true PLJ the craftsmanship is stunning and older pieces from the Meiji/Taisho period are sought-after.

@imperialfinegems you are correct no comparison to Japanese Meiji pieces. I saw a Ando Meiji period Plique-jiore sell for$175000
That must have been a stupendous PAJ for that money.
I only have one piece. From the early 20th century. Really supberb to hold.

My little bit of on line research suggests if you want older than late 19th or earlier 20th century you have to look to Russia or France. All the way back to the 1300’s for Russian manufacture if I recall correctly. Good luck finding any of that other than museums.
