Basic Rules For the BidAmount Asian Art Forum: Talk about whatever you want. You can even discuss and offer things that are for sale if they are authentic. Maximum image file size per post is 2 MB. Images of 700pxl x 700pxl are optimal if saved at a medium resolution. Be respectful of others and enjoy yourself. Click the YouTube link for a brief tutorial on using the forum. You can also EMBED Videos by cutting and pasting from You-Tube, Vimeo etc.

There is a person on eBay with large quantities of accounts that they use to win auctions where they intend to cancel the purchase. They then wait for the item to be relisted to either try to offer a cheaper price if it is a buy it now or they hope that the item sells cheaper in auction the second time around.
I know 3 accounts that are ran by this same person, they probably have many more. There might be other people doing it too.
So this is just a heads up. If you have people winning your auctions and cancelling the purchase, they are likely the person that will be offering you cheap prices or trying to get the item cheaper the next time using a different account. You can often tell because when you look at their feedback other people will have left messages warning about this. Many of their accounts only have a small amount of feedback.
If this happens to you, you can report them under the 'more actions' tab in the order details.
@lotusblack I am going back and forth whether to post the usernames. It would be good to see if other people have had similar experiences with them. In my example they used accounts registered as American, both with the same first name beginning with J to do the bidding sabotage and then they had a third account registered as Chinese to try and get the item cheaper (I assume the third account was registered to their real address). The first two accounts had a very small amount of feedback, the third had some feedback. In their feedback, other people had left messages saying that they cancel auctions etc. If this sounds similar to the accounts other people have experienced (though they likely have many other accounts with different details), perhaps it would be good to mention here. It seems like a lot of it is being done by one person with a large quantity of accounts.
The way it is done also, you might not realize what has happened as a seller. You accept the lower price later without realizing that the person that sabotaged the initial auction is the one buying it from you at a cheaper price later.
(The first name beginning with J being their registered first name not the ebay username)
