Hi I was wondering if anyone could possibly confirm for me that these are authentic antique Chinese porcelain and possibly tell me the age. I know there probably not high quality pieces, but trying to sort through my pieces and figure out what's authentic and what's not so I can study them and get a feel for the real thing.

Could we please have some close-ups of the plates? And maybe the interior of the bowl, is it also turquoise?
Could the mark on the plates be a version of the endless knot - one of the eight Buddhist emblems?
Lot's of late 19th century bowls had that turquoise blue. If I had to guess, without seeing clearer photos I would say the plates might be around mid 19th century (or trying to look like that) and the bowl a bit later.
That is just my opinion, hopefully someone who really is sure they know what they are talking about, will comment. 🙂

Just one thing more, I have not seen that kind of pattern on the bowl which is what really makes me hesitate to say the bowl is definitely late 19th century. Close ups may help.

As Julia sais , better photo's needed , The first colourful bowl with the yellow looks to be late 19th to early 20th century , The other two finer bowls look quite nice , possibly Daoguang period early 19th century . Better pictures would be more conclusive though.

Hi I wanted to thank everyone for there opinions and I will definitely upload clearer photos once I get off work. I have one more bowl I bought recently I think it might be Imari. I’ll upload those photos along with the others in the morning. I’m still pretty new to collecting asian porcelain teaching myself something everyday, I finally received my first study guide in the mail (Allen’s chinese porcelain detection of fakes) Once again thanks for all of the replies.

Im not sure if this is Japanese or Chinese, but i think it might be Imari.
It just goes to show you the importance of good close-up images , The new images look like both Chinese pieces are 20th century , poorly executed and stamped red mark. The Japanese Piece at the end looks by far the oldest , 19th century.

Thanks for reply Carl, It really didn’t cross my mind that the marking might have been stamped. That’s something else I’ve been trying to figure out. Some markings ive seen online looks as if it was stamped and some you can clearly tell it was done by hand.
So at any point in time on authentic antique pieces of porcelain would they have used a stamp?
would you say that the Japanese bowl is Imari?
Wow, yes indeed, what a difference. So maybe they were "just trying to look like it" - however, stamped marks were used in the later 19th century, so I guess, possibly these may have some age but the quality isn't what I hoped it might be. I am sure if they were an outright fake, they would be more like we were hoping they would be.
The bowl with the turquoise, I am still not sure about. I have a 19th century bowl with yellow and also a later kind of fake thing with yellow. Maybe I will try to take photos, tomorrow, to compare.
As for the last bowl, it is an Imari palette but maybe not quite Imari-style? I feel it is overly heavy on the blue. Is the inside central pattern stamped?
