I picked up this pair of nice landscapes Qianjiang hat stands a few days ago. A friend translated the date to 1880, and the base of each hat stand has a handwritten Guangxu 4 character mark.
I can’t find any info on the artist, presumably ‘益峯 （yifeng)’.
Could someone confirm the translation is accurate?
I have seen numerous examples of stamped Guangxu (and Tongzhi) marks on Qianjiang wares, but so far, I have never seen a handwritten Guangxu mark - that would make this pair mark & period, right?
Dated pieces of Qianjiang are not unusual, but a genuine reign mark would be very unusual… I think.

I can not find any examples by this artist, which is surprising given the age and quality.
Has anyone seen works by this artist?
I haven't heard of this artist before and also couldn't find anything about them.
