Hey all,
Picked this up today, it appears to be a late qing or early republic export vase with black brocade. This piece is expertly crafted, very high quality hand painting, and enameling for its size in addition to the calligraphy on the back.
Translation suggested:
九色瑞昭
"The nine hues herald auspiciousness."
五墳瑞昭
"The five blessings bring harmony."
文章倫瑄
"Literary elegance as beautiful as jade."
I feel this is likely between 1900 and 1920 but not exactly sure. It's about 7"x3.5". No marks on the bottom, just a faded label scar. Might likely be out of Jingdezhen. Very light at 288 grams and translucent quality.

In my opinion it's not Later Qing but later Republic period or early PROC... So late 1940's to early 1950's.

Something to hold on to the antique of the Future .
Its nice and decorative Painting is well done the Porcelain of good quality ,You get around 40 - 80 dollars for such a vase, which means you can set it up at home and enjoy it.
@webboy I think the value stated is below par to what has sold in recent history. I'll find more pieces easily mixed in for that price which have a flatter color scheme, little enamel if any, simplified designs over transfer, and usually are mass produced pieces by default. Vases comparable to this one are selling higher at auction for a similar size, less complicated artwork and usually either reign marked or Jingdezhen marked. It's so far a challenge to find one unmarked, which could mean anything really on the surface level.

Hammered at $200 with an evaluation of $200-400
https://modern2historic.com/chinese-famille-rose-porcelain-vase/ - listed for $173.88, around the same era if not a little later than the 2nd link post. Same studio seals for the calligraphy as well.
While I don't think the 2nd and 4th links are great representations of their values, it does at least show the range these retail at currently for domestic to INTL markets, while the 1st and 3rd link are verified recent auction records.
It may be be worth while to look into this further, but I'll ask Peter to check it later on when I'm ready to move it next. On the plus side, if one of these specific ones show up at an antique dealer for that price range, you can bet that I'm definitely buying it.
@pbarski93 there are always two prices: the one you wish for ..and the walk thru the door price IMO youre vase "becomes Feet " at 40- 80 Dollars
