I would like to identify this vase. How old is it? I think it should be from the 19th century.
the photos are not very good , sorry, but I think if it were old then the gilt work would be much better done , brighter and clearer; also the vase and lid shapes look heavy and 'uncomfortable ' to me ; and the base , especially the foot, looks much newer than C19th - I would guess 1980s or newer.
Why do you think it's C19th ?

I do not agree, in my opinion this is 19th century. Actually I am perplexed by the lack of wear on the gilding, but to me it is old.
To be sure, we need better pictures.
Dear Ssbill, please take better pictures. Do not use the flash, do not use the phone if you can. Bring the vase in a place with more light. Especially, a clearer picture of the base. The one provided is blurred, out of focus and with low light.

This vase looks suspicious to me. I might be wrong, but this shape of the vase looks like a Qianlong period or earlier, but the color is new to me. The foot looks suspicious too, especially the double blue circles. You can hardly see where the circle begins and ends from the picture.

The bottom and the inside of the lid look very much like late 19th Century - I like the colours of glazed parts. Same as the shape of the vase. Regarding the gilding, it is very intriguing and I am pretty sure on the better photos one could easily recognise beautiful shapes and lines of a very nicely painted patterns.

I am going to base my opinion on this: Could I envision this vase decorating the parlor of a late Victorian Home? Yes.
