This is a mark and period bowl I’m not in agreement with the Minyao theory.

It certainly is of the period, I just don't know enough to say Minyao or other wise. I did try and look up other marked Minyao pieces and it seems that many Yongzheng mark and period pieces are not differentiated, besides a few monochrome plates I found, however those marks were quite sloppy.
Ultimately I am very glad to have this in my hands, I'm gonna have trouble putting it down to eat my dinner tonight.

@jbeer2121 this dish is probably a private order. That my thinking but this dish is in no way for the people. This clue is in the condition. My Kangxi bowl was for the people.
@lotusblack I didn't know that's what minyao meant. I just pulled it from the Bonhams listing. I agree - Jeremy's dish is phenomenal in quality. I think you're right with the private order direction.
Well this makes me feel a lot better. I paid quite a bit for it and though I trusted the label and thought it looked right and like a good one, I'm always a bit scared when buying out of my norm. Thanks.
When you say private order, you mean from the main kiln, but not for imperial manufacture?

@jbeer2121 some Imperial wares are requested for sale by prominent figures and it’s sold as a private order. It can also be gifted. The piece is made with Imperial standards but not for the court. They can come from the Imperial Kiln or an authorized shop.
If Polly Latham said it was Yongzheng period it will be a high quality piece from that period, she would refer to it as having a Yongzheng mark if she doubted the period. There is a similar type of bowl on her site where she makes that distinction.
I find the mark to be a little unusual, but the work is beautiful! This wasn't meant for the masses and I would be very confident in accepting her opinion on the age.
