My late Mom's 14 K ring and 14 K bracelet, they are American made, probably in New Jersey or Rhode Island, where most American jewelry was made. Are these a different type of Jade, they are both translucent, but note the different shades displayed in the bracelet. They need to be cleaned, should I just clean the gold with a soft bristle brush or is it okay to emerse? I was chastised by my jeweler when I took the bracelet in to have a prong replaced, "please never glue jewelry again, stop trying to repair your jewelry, you just make it worse." He has had to deal with some of previous attempted repairs. My late Mom-in-law's beads, bangle and ring. The beads I purchased for her Christmas 1969, I did not have very much money. I think they are not machine made but I also think they are probably South American jade. The beads are opaque, the stone in the ring is translucent and came from an old broken piece of jewelry. I took it to the jeweler to be reset and he said, "lots of people are taking these old jade stones and polishing them and setting in gold for big prices." I told him to, "leave it as it is and to set it in silver, as the price of gold is ridiculous now." The bangle is translucent and she bought it when she came to visit us in Jakarta. Mark, why can you see the different tones in my Mom's gold bracelet?

It's always difficult to determine by way of just couple of pictures.
From what I can see your collection of jade appears to be for the most part jadeite jade as opposed to nephrite jade.
Jadeite jade is more durable than nephrite.
On the Mohs hardness jadeite jade is 7
Nephrite is 6.5
The following is a sample chart of some of the various colours found with jadeite. This chart is from 'jade' by Roger Keverne. As seen jadeite comes in a variety of colours. The most prized is imperial jadeite jade.
The flat oval ring maybe serpentine or jadeite. It's difficult to tell. I also think that probably the beads are not genuine either. But once again it's too difficult to determine by way of one picture. The marquise cut stone ring along with the bracelet look genuine. As does the bangle (mottled green. Almost a variety of moss in snow, but not quite). Of course they may or may not be treated or enhanced. More than 95% of jadeite is treated.
In my opinion the quality of your jadeite is fair to medium. Translucent is far better than opaque and priced accordingly.
Below is a rough map of the world's source of jadeite and nephrite.
I hope that helps you out a little bit. It's a complex subject. I would advise having them analyzed by a qualified gemologist/valuer at a minimum cost.

@imperialfinegems I especially likeed the map, I knew that there were nephrite deposits in the Americas, but I did not know about the jadeite deposits in the Americas.
