The base looks ok, I think. Although, I do think the circles around the top of the neck and the bottom look a little out of place.
Is there a kind of ridge running around the neck, it often is there on these vases, but I can't quite tell from your pictures. Sorry, I am on a small screen and the glaze appears rather shiny. Is that lighting or is it quite shiny?
It really is quite amazing how the action has been caught.

So, since I've been reading various posts as people have responded to mine, let me put my two cents in.
I believe the vase is 19th c. or newer.
The scene of your vase is very dynamic, and there appears to be a fair amount of 3 dimensionality. However, I don't think this type of depth / perspective would have occurred prior to Yongzheng.
Giuseppe Castiglione, the Jesuit monk who served under Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong, is credited with introducing perspective, shadow, and realism into Chinese painting. But, this depth of design did not occur in porcelain until Tang Ying 1682-1756, and his Kangxi examples kept to the traditional style, but incorporate new colors. Not until the Yongzheng did Tang Ying porcelain designs take on the depth and detail of Castiglione.
Not to ask the obvious, but if you look at the surface under magnification, are there natural signs of age? I've never come across a genuine piece without the typical minute surface abrasions from being handled over 100+ years (unless its been stored in a case for its entirety).
I see some iron spots on the foot ring...that seems out of character for kangxi, too.
i also think 19th cent copy the blue should be different for kangxi also the decor bands on the neck are not in line with orig. kangxi samples i found online (xsties sothebys etc
To me , the footrim looks more C19th or modern than Kangxi. I would check the iron red lines around the footrim , are they a result of the firing or have they been applied, washed in?
This would definitely worth getting an opinion from Peter. You could also compare with 2 lots of large Kangxi figural vases coming up in one of the Christies sales.

Thank you all for your input. I will send to Peter to see what he thinks. I actually won this at an auction in france but I got scared when someone I trust said it is modern fake of kangxi, not even late 19thC.
I think it is 19thC imitation of kangxi and that is why I bid on it. I cannot see it in person and only have these pictures to decide. If you were me, would you pay $1000 for it? With shipping, it would cost roughly $1100-$1200. ugh. Hard decision.
For me everything on this vase looks fine for Kangxi. The color, the painting style and the form. But the footring somehow doesn't look right for Kangxi. But I may be wrong. In any case it's an awesome vase.

Footrim is definitely not kangxi I dont think. The paste isn’t right. It should be more quite and pure I think.

Any chance this is modern you think? I was so sure it is 19thC or late 19thC until one of my contact in the UK looked at it and said it is modern and it shocked me. Then I started to panic and have doubts about everything that I have learned from Peter and our group. 😢
