Sorry for posting something not strictly Asian, but I am a bit lost in identifying this one and I am hoping somebody could help me with it, please.
It's a Persian vase, personally I think it is at least 19th century but I recognise it as a bit older than that. Naive decorations suggest some local potter. And that's pretty much all I can say about it.
Please let me know what you think and correct me if I'm wrong.

Not spam to me, I love this type of ware. If I saw this my first instinct would be 19th c Iranian (Persian) but I am not certain. Could Turkish also be a possibility? Also, I find the blue unusually strong. I have a vase from Jerusalem which is similar in some respects but is actually 1930s. Because of the way they were made, these items can look older than they are due to fritting, flaking and crackling of the glaze. Is the base quite rough? Also, how big is your vase?
By the way, I should mention, but you may know this, it is not permitted to sell Iranian items to some countries. I had one on Etsy and was told to take it down. I wasn't even allowed to offer it solely for sale within the UK.

Thank you very much for your comment and sharing all of that with me. Vase is around 28cm tall. The feel of the base is similar to delicate sand paper. yes, the blue stands out and I had the same suspects regarding this. I spent a lot of time inspecting it but all I can share is just my impression without any background in knowledge in this area. All I was able to find out is that most likely it is Persian and probably Qajar dynasty. Please search in google 'antique persian Qajar stoneware vase' and you will find very similar objects. Regarding the age I think you are actually very accurate. It looks like it is early 20th C. In my opinion mine looks a bit older but it could be coincidental or somebody made a bit more effort to make this one a bit older.
I am quite surprised hearing that selling Persian items is restricted, especially in UK. All the time I came across rugs and other Persian items over here. I was never really into those antiques. Could you please share some more information? I will try to learn more about it myself in a meantime.

That all sounds good to me. As I said the blue was the only issue that raised questions, but it may simply be my screen. Certainly, without holding it myself, my instinct would be Persian and around that era. The item I attempted to sell also has a slight sand paper feel to the base.
Etsy would not let me advertise it as they are an American company and the US has sanctions against Iran. No Iranian products can be imported which I had completely forgotten to consider, however, I was surprised at the advertising restriction. I don't know if this applies anywhere else, the customs and revenue should be able to help. There are lots of items for sale described as Persian and maybe description that goes under the radar, I don't know, but it is worth looking in to. Sorry, I don't have any more info than that.
