I wondered if anyone could help me identify this Armorial Dish, it has a red seal mark to the base which i have not been able to find online, but it does look slightly similar to Qianlong reign marks, it is also heavier than i expected, ones i have come across before have been pretty delicate! which makes me wonder if this is just in the Chinese style
it is hand painted and 27cm diameter
any help with the seal mark and a rough date would be greatly appreciated.

Of course! I was looking at this earlier trying to work out why that border looked so regularly irregular: it has been stamped!
I was also perplexed by the writing: if this were a genuine item, wouldn't it have been commissioned and therefore the wording would have made sense?
That made me wonder if the mark was "made up" too in the way that Samson made up Chinese marks. I am not suggesting this is Samson, but it might not be Chinese as George seems to suggest.

A very odd thing , I think the border is hand done with a restoration at 12 oclock. I wonder whether this is a sample , from the C19th, the crest and flowers look quite convincing, and inscription could read something like 'the name of your family or company.......', but with many copying errors.
Although the stamped red mark is a puzzle and certainly makes the thing look later .

I agree it could be 19th c, just not sure it is Chinese.
It is interesting how the first 15 mins, or so, clockwise, of that blue dotted circle looks fine, then the rest looks like a stamp has been used.
Is it porcelain? I can't enlarge the foot rim.
Thanks for posting, I had some fun trying to decide what that motto was shooting for and decided they had created at least one portmanteau word with rompany for royal company but I believe Tam is correct with "the name of your company or family." I just can't decide if of Clox or Gfox is another word for widget. It would be very interesting if it is a salesman's sample gone wrong. 🤣
Thank you for all your comments, i do not think the blue border is stamped, it is uneven all the way along (the top section - 12 o clock, just seems to stand out a bit more in the picture i think!) you can also feel the 'ridge' of the blue border. If it was stamped would it not be perfectly flat against the porcelain - the same as the mark on the base?
I also wondered it it may be Samson or similar, but would have thought they would have had some kind of makers mark! Very odd indeed and thank you all once again 🙂

The plate is Chinese, vintage but not antique, mid to third quarter 20th C.
A relatively common style to see revived in PROC wares and also Macau/HK finished post-war products meant for mass export.
Mark is a variant of "Yong Shen Tang Make/Made" if I'm reading it correctly, the worn off labels likely themselves saying "Made in the People's Republic of China" and the other being a food/decorative use only label or manufacturing sticker.
These are really tricky as the back side rims were made sharply walled and elevated in the style of earlier antique armorial variants; and the enamel - often being "Canton ware style" can be what's best described as often subtly raised texture transfer-based; not particularly "stamped" but a different way of applying these motifs and borders at a faster pace of production.
Going clockwise, look at the 4 flower motifs surrounding the shield, and work your way in that direction.
1 & 2 are the same, and 3 & 4 are the same.
