Is that the same scroll hanging you posted before? I didn't respond before because I don't know much about them but my feeling is it is nothing special. The fan also seems to have the Great Wall on it. If these were in the same shop, maybe they came in together having been picked up may 2nd half 20th c as tourist items. But as I said, I don't know for sure.

The celadon jar I can't help with. The mark is probably identifiable but I can't see it properly on this screen. Maybe someone will translate the text for you, too. I think it may also be 20th c.

I like the painting, that is very attractive, but with just the one picture it is hard to tell anything. It may be a print, I don't know. Hope some can maybe help with that text, too.

@julia thank you Julia for all the provided information, the artworks depicting the great wall, are not from the same seller, each seller is in another country. for the painting I'll provide more images.

the painting is framed with glass on top of it, so the seller can't know for sure if it's a painting or not based on the feeling of the texture. do you have any method to identify if it's painted based on eye.

Hi,

It is very difficult from photos.  I would suggest looking for brushstrokes rather than more flat-looking bands of colour. If you were looking in person you could view the painted area through a loupe which may reveal evidence of printing.  It isn't always conclusive though.

From what I can see, I am inclined to think this is a print. If it is, then there may well be others, or an original, so you could try to test that by looking for another online.  Not an easy option.

Possibly someone may translate the text ad there may be a clue in that or you could try to search on the seal.

I think it is a print but maybe someone will feel differently.

Julia

@julia if you look carefully where the yellow arrow is, you'll see the stroke of the painting cross the edge or the border, do you think that could happen in a print?

test

Celadon jar is a wine bottle: China Shaoxing Nuerhong. Here is the AD picture:

image

Great wall painting is hand painted on rice paper with silk frame.

The painting with prunus most likely is printed due to its size, also lack of silk frame. -hard to see though.

Hope it helps.

Sorry, I can't see it clearly enough. I do believe it is a print and I am sure if someone thought it wasn't they would have said so by now. Obviously, it is hard to see so I can only suggest you go to look at it with a loupe and see if that helps.

@julia thank you julia for all the time you put in to answer my question with all your best, the painting is not in my hand and the owner is not ready to check it or grab a loop for that matter, so I think I'll leave it there. thanks to God there is always other chances
