I am wondering what could be the period for the dish below. And Does it have any value?

My guess is mid-19th century and $100-200 value. But I might be off so let's see if others agree. John
I would say this falls into the category of decoration often referred to as Mauve Mandarin. The subject has been discussed a few times on Gotheborg and I believe at one point Tommy Ekloff felt that they were Guangxu.
I don't know if that opinion has been adjusted, but looking at the back I would say second half of the 19th c, maybe even last quarter. So a bit later than John but I think his price about right.
I agree, this special style can be dated to the 1870/80s. It wasn't as hughely popular as rose mandarin but pops up from time to time.

Your lovely plate is 18th c. famille verte, Kangxi to Yongzheng period. It appears that white enamel was used on parts of some robes, so certainly more likely Yongzheng in age unless I’m seeing it wrong. I’m
The gold gilt cartouche with depiction of flute players is a particularly interesting scene, overlaid on a ground of various colored peony flowers.
I can’t find the exact design, but it has the overall composition is extremely well done - the brightness of the enamel work is far superior to 19th c work.
Unmarked, I would suggest it’s value would still be several thousand dollars.
Its a real keeper!
I have to agree with Julia and Birgit. For me this plate, apart from the decoration, has clearly a 19th century form (and footring) and is not older than that.

The depicted people have very typical look with bent noses and double lower eyelids. Tommy Eklöf gave them a category of their own (q17), they appear only in a short time (1870-90).

Perhaps post some close ups, but from your earlier photos, I can see the differences in quality as compared to 19th c work referenced above by Shinigami.
The line work is in red enamel, not black. Notice the shadows of the hair and facial contours. Look at the expressive faces (especially the far right figure in yellow, who is clearly very somber). Bright/vibrant enamel work and careful attention to hands.
As for the foot rim…
Consider cleaning your foot rim, but you can see the oatmeal color and dense texture… no kiln grit… nicely formed… quite different from 19th c Canton pieces which are generally gritty and sloppy.
The porcelain is also very white, with pigs hair inclusions on the underside.
If you decide that the plate is 19th c., and you’d like to sell it as such, I’d be very happy to pay you $500… a very good price for a 19th. c plate. Just email me (roseate [email protected])
Of course, I hope you know that I don’t intend to take advantage of you… and while my offer is sincere, I think you’d regret passing along this very pretty dish for such a low price.

I am not aware of 18th c plates this size and shape that were made with this thickness. I have seen smaller 18th c saucers made thickly, and of course larger platters were as well, but from what I've seen 18th c dinner plate sizes were always quite thin and rather delicate, while the 19th c produced a wider variety of types, with many being rather stout like this one appears to be. @greeno107 Thank you for your response, really appreciate it. I wish I had seen it earlier maybe it would have pushed me to buy it. This plate was sold at a local estate sale for $93 two days ago.
