Better clear closer pictures are needed.
That is a good question being asked. There are Japanese potters that are making some really high quality celadon pieces and the glaze of this bowl reminds me of a family of potters that are creating these pieces in the style of Song and Yuan. I acquired a vase from this family of potters and it’s my favorite celadon piece. Very underrated in my opinion.
Here is a vase I bought in Germany in 1985 because I thought it was Korean, but a member we have not heard from in sometime told me it was Chinese and modern, it was Springmeirer, hope all is well. I think it may be pottery with the red looking clay showing through on the base, but your piece does look to have a red dressing on the rim. Mine is a lovely color that I have enjoyed for many years now, but the shape looks western and I am no longer sure it was even Asian, did the Chinese make this shape?
The red rim is what made me think Korean because I did not know that the Chinese ever produced anything with a red rim at that time. Took me a long time to find my file with photos, up to my usual standard of organization.
P.S. Just tried Google Lens and the closest thing to it was a 1980s Italian vase by Himark, but no base photo of course, it would fit the time and place it was purchased at a Nuremburg flea market. Closest to the base photo was a Longquan piece on Google lens.
I saw a vaguely similar one on ebay but the colours in the photo looked weird as though some one had tried and failed to get the colour showing correctly.
Your vase looks Chinese to me and not of any great age, but that doesn't matter. It is a nice vase and the main thing is you like it.
