This is my first time posting on the forum. I’m in the process of purchasing the contents of an estate and they have these 3 large what I believe are republican porcelain plaques. I’m hoping someone can help identify the artist and possibly provide a value.

Firstly welcome to this great forum!
The plaques you are interested in buying are very nicely painted.
The style is reminiscent of Wang Qi (1884-1937). He was a famous artist and member of the eight friends of zushan. He is widely copied.
The three plaques are not by him. They are a attribute to his style. Who the artist is I don't know. Perhaps others can decipher the calligraphy etc.
Whether they are from the Republic period or later is impossible to determine by the pictures posted by you. For starters I would need to view the backs of the plaques themselves. My feeling is that they are not and hence from the PROC 1949 -. Whether it is early or later is impossible to determine. The frames look modern. But the images are not clear enough either way.
As republican period porcelain (especially plaques) are widely copied with exceptional details by modern artists we would need to firstly establish who the artists seal mark is and then deciphering the calligraphy. From there we would need to view the backs of the plaques. Only then can one make a reasonable appraisal.

I have a similar style vase that was told to be modern the style are a close match. I almost sold it on eBay for cheap due to the criticism as being recent modern copy. Luckily It was looked at by Sotheby’s and not modern at all but not Republic the Asian art specialist informed me that these are PROC tributes from early Republic pieces. And dated to the 1950’s so Mark is correct in his view. But these are strongly criticized pieces and should be view in person by qualified person unless cheap or you like them.
I would also like to view the other one. The one on the left. And dimensions please.
What if anything are the owners saying about them. Have they indicated a price?

Sorry for the delay and thank you all for your expertise. I was traveling and didn't get a chance to reply.
I unfortunately do not have a close up picture of the 3rd piece but will be able to send more photos once I go back to purchase the estate.
The late owner of the estate was a GM for a large corporation in China and would have purchased these in the 70s or 80s. That is all the info I have on them.

It's difficult to determine or put a price on them.
If they are republican period or later attributes makes a huge difference in pricing.
It would also largely depend on why you are buying them. To keep or resell later.
I am going to low ball these to a figure of $500. If you can get them for that. The upside is good with little downside in my opinion.
They are a good size and nicely painted with good facial details.
