I'm trying to assess the age of this pair based solely on these photos. Auction closes in a couple days, and I live too far to preview. May I get some opinions on them. I kind of like them, but the foot rim sure look like 20th c. knock offs to me. Photos are so bad. I've requested more but have yet to hear back. All help appreciated. JT
The foot is wrong, the top rim is wrong, the gold is modern, the painting looks awkward and of course… felt pads 🤮I bought a lot of stuff but not even once encountered them. Probably more widespread overseas?

Samson porcelain is very white. Impossible to see it on the badly lit pictures. It’s a possibility of course. But to me it looks rather like a 20th century Chinese copy/fake.
faience Qimper, Desvres is not all that bad and Gien will sell for a very good price,
19th century 'printed' Gien can sell in the thosuands
and as for the older handpainted antique faience can sell 10's of thousands and are very desirable.
This sold for 81,000
As for Yong ( Tang Hall) They are actually hand painted and some of their 18th century Chinese amorial plate reproductions are very well done and sell for at least £40. They are not fakes as much as genuine repros and they usually have their backmark...but your vases do not have the backmark. So are sellable.
@short-dong Who is this Wiluam Henry, who so boldly usurps the royal arms of Her Brittainic Majesty, "be off to the tower cur." Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, or as we say in Texas, Only Squares Wear Tamale Pants. I'm not sure what they could be, but not very convincing. Sharon
