Well folks, I see the little famille rose cup fetched $790.00 the Kraak Bowles only $213 and Xin’s bronze devotional box got an amazing $5220.00. All the remaining items are getting up in price as well.

Be honest sometimes it's very difficult to identify one object just from a couple of pictures. I have friends who work for museums and auction houses also have this problem. Mostly they tell me they are not sure and want to see the piece in person. So if I find this kind of pieces which not really authentic to me, I will let it go. For me they are something irritating. My suggestion is, don't waste your money on those irritating things. I learned my lesson. ?
Yes, that bronze box is really cool. There are a lot experts on eBay watching it.

Xin exactly my sentiments. I had look at this sellers previous auctions and noticed something odd.
If you scroll down to the 'famille vert porcelain brush pot H. 14.5cm' that sold for US4,494 (82 bids).
If you have a look at the receipt provided by said seller and have a close look you will notice something very odd indeed.
Payment date 30 may 2017 (top left hand corner)
But payment receipt is dated 12 April 2018. (right hand side)
The fonte on the receipt is not fully aligned.
Auction was held 8 May 2017.
Most interesting of course is that the ebay auction finished on the 14 April 2018 after running it's full course without any additional information and or photos added.
I will that one for forum members to work out.
I was also astonished by the sale that ended at the same period of the 'A chinese wooden carving with stand' that sold for US$10,701. Have a look at the detail of said carving, or should I say the lack of.

I failed to add that ALL receipts/invoices from Bonhams according to their conditions of sale have the following 'the invoice gives a breakdown of the various costs'.
This normal practice with all major auction rooms. I just a few days ago purchases a 'Qing dynasty zitan bitong' from a well known Australian auction house that I have been dealing with for many years. There invoice clearly states all the costing. This even applied when last year I lost a receipt and asked them for a copy.
Nowhere in the said receipt from Bonhams is there any breakdown of costing. Very dodgy!
