hi everyone, I cant keep everything, not yet need a bigger house and more china cabinets. I took michaels description advice and my price estimate and listed the box, you can find it at the link here. Thanks michael.
hi peter and all, I know I forgot as other sellers sometimes do as well, I'm going get that picture up today. I went down to the original Miami beach antique show yesterday , a 30 minute drive from hollywood fl on the turnpike and and when asked for 5 dollars for parking came to realize I forgot my MONEY, AAAAHHHHH. I had to laugh it's all I could do. We will be going back down today with some money:)
hi peter and all, I used to do that when I was working out of my plumbing truck, keep a check or two and cc in case I forgot cash and needed an expensive part, like a backflow preventer or something. We made it to the show and I bought a small jarlett and would like you to have a look in case I have to return it tomorrow before the show leaves town:) thank you. Pictures coming soon.
hi thomas and all, I understand your concern about buy it now. The buy it now option is for when a certain value of an item is suspected but unknown. Experience whispers a ballpark value and then hopefully a couple offers come in and you can take the highest offer which is hopefully close to actual value. I have lost some investment money to auction because I did not set a reserve, but setting a reserve is like hiring a sitter to watch your piece, it costs money. I see a lot of folks who only use buy it now and rarely use auction, maybe only when they scored something good in a thrift store or flea market and can afford to let it go a little cheaply. Hope I helped you out.
