WE WENT TO THE ORIGINAL MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE SHOW TODAY AND HERE ARE SOME PICTURES ENJOY
Hi everyone, I'm just going to post up some pictures now I'll talk a little bit about the show later. I do want to say that the prices were outrageous. I'm in the antique Chinese market daily and watch the auctions on ebay which I believe is a good market temperature indicator, which is and has been hot, like our stock market which has cooled for the moment. Some of the dealers of antique Chinese porcelain are really out of touch or they are outright gouging and that folks is bad for business. So without further ado here are the pictures, enjoy, wish you all could have been there too:)
hi everyone, you are all quite welcome, anytime. The dealers at these large fancy shows pay 5 grand for a 10 x 10 space or something like that and wonder why they are not selling when they dont know what they have and are charging 5 and 10 time market prices for things because they think anything Chinese will sell for millions or something. The fellow, James, who I bought the Jun piece from was different, he had reasonable prices and knew his merchandise.
