It got damaged in the transport unfortunately. It's the top part (the pouring part) that is broken in to seven fragments. The head is still intact. It will look really cool with a kintsugi gold-lacuer repair but value is reduced 50-80 percent.
But the reason I posted it is because I was just about to sell it off but then realized it could possibly be quite valuable. If you look closely you can see young boys hidden among the foliage and according to a lot-essay by Sotheby's regarding a qingbai meiping this decoration is rarely seen on qingbai vessels other than dishes and bowls. Does anyone here have a reference for another qingbai ewer decorated boys hidden among winning foliage and flowers???
I missed those the first time. Sorry, no I don't.
Link to the meiping at Sotheby's. Estimated at 2,500,000 - 2,500,000. Wow!

I said: value reduced 50 - 80 Percent. Not true. It should be 20 - 50 perecent.
Should also be 2,500,000 - $3,000,000 for Sotheby's meiping. But here you can see a qingbai bowl with a decoration very similar to that of my ewer. I also have a meiping with similar boys among flowers and foliage decoration but I'm not sure if it compares in value with the one at Sotheby's since it is very different in style as you can see. Only the theme of the motive is the same.

Avatar, ‘was’? I think this may be worthy of a consultation with Peter. A professional repair would be a minimum. Depending on what you paid for it you could be a millionaire if it proves to be Yuan, there can’t be many of those around. Does it have a provenance?
I had to look hard to se the boys, actually noticed it first on the bowl, then as soon as I looked back at your vase they jumped out.
Thank you for the kind words. I don't think the ewer would be worth a million though. I have of cause checked the auction results/estimates for these kind of ewers and the highest estimate I could find was $80,000 at Christie's but that one was left unsold.
I was calculating with an estimate at $10,000 - $15,000 or perhaps a little less but with the potential to go up around $30,000. This is because the phoenix head is not so finely modelled. If the head had been finer modelled it could probably carry a $20,000 - $30,000 estimate but with the potential to go up around $50,000.
But with the fine and rare decoration it might still have the potential to go up to $50,000 or possibly even higher but I think $100,000 would be the maximum limit but who knows - hopefully I'm wrong in my calculations.
I'm more excited about the meiping I have with very similar decoration. Good qingbai meipings have much higher estimates and results. The estimate for the meiping at Sotheby's was probably set to high because it was left unsold. It also came from the collection of legendary Japanese dealer Sakamoto Goro which probably also means a lot for the estimate given by Sotheby's.
Here is another close-up of the decoration where I can see the flower and the boy out at the right.
I actually think this ewer also at Christie's is just as good or even better than the one above but it didn't have a notable provenance so the estimate was set much lower and naturally it sold well above for £21,250.
And it was even re-sold this month for $69,231 at Poly.
The ewer I have doesn't have a provenance unfortunately. It came in a Japanese wood-box similar to the one at Christie's. It was because of the box it got damaged. Not enough bubble-plastic was packed between the head of the ewer and the lid of the box.
Seems I've missed this one in my searches. Extremity of phoenix head restored but still with a high estimate at hk$800,000 in 2002.
478,000HKD in 2002, that was a lot of money at the time, well it still is a lot of money in my books.
