Song Dynasty - Amazing shipwrecked piece under water for hundreds of years and look at that incising !
richard severson
Here is the bottom and a closer look at that Incising, so beautiful
richard severson
Hi Richard,
that pseudo-romantic style of representing mythical beasts like chimeras and phoenixes is typical of the illustrations seen on books of tales for children.
Those children’s tale books were very common during Song dynasty, isn’t it?
How long will endure this joke?
BTW it is not incised, it is press molded.
Giovanni
Well mine is molded ?
Mark
Absolutely amazing, Mark!
Birgit
So, is this a joke, too? Clearly the Tang maiden has to be a wind-up, but I have been worrying about Richard buying pretend ship-wreck items, believing they are genuine. ?
I must be so gullible! ?
Julia
We have a man with strong mental strength here. ? HE IS A LEGEND!

I love all your comments expecially Xin`s , World renown men are first ridiculed before becoming famous, If you think in the box you will stay in the box, and Goivanni stay tuned as we turn the pages of the kids book
Julia the world is a stage and we are all actors are we not
Mark I can see the resemblance, it is a song piece?
P.S. Moulded and incised
richard severson
Hi all, And that blue cobalt Song dynasty vase, did you see the mark at bottom? let`s look again
Do you know what that says ? it says YI-Ding that means Northern Song Kiln
Let`s look at another mark on another vase ...
Very Rare -
richard severson
Hi again it`s me, LOL - Let`s look at those drips on the cobalt, I know Goivinni will even love this vase
And Julie what should I do now, I sold the family farm to get this vase
richard severson
Richard, I know you didn't. These are meant to be bargains that people have missed - or am I completely out of this, joke? Either way, I think I will stop worrying now. ?
One question, why have you set up these hoax threads?
I am really puzzled - it seems rather unkind and not very helpful to people visiting. I am intrigued as to your motive.
Hope you don't mind my asking.
Julia
Julia - Real questions deserve real answers, I never set up any hoax threads, I would never do that, I will however, lighten up and joke with those that are either sarcastic or think that I am a fool, lest I be tempted to judge them lol,
What part did you think is a Hoax? I uploaded real pictures and explain some of them
Reply to your first reply ... yes you are right bargains that people miss, That`s the truth but why do they miss them is the enigma
I showed a few people a very rested porcelain vase and I said would you buy this at a yard sale for $10.00? they all said no way, it`s ugly and they said what is it. Well you won`t believe what it is and after I showed them a clean one, I took off the rust and they couldn't believe it, one must be ready when the opportunity knocks but are not ready and that is because of their belief system
richard severson
Julia - Never feel bad to ask any questions of me and I will always do my best to answer them properly, If you think that I do not own those vases and I am just uploading other peoples vase let me know, I will add your name to any one of them and hold it so that you can see for yourself - is that fair enough? - rich
richard severson
The only answer that you honestly should provide is Christie's answer if you submit them one of your things. Either one.
Why don't you do that? It takes a few seconds.
Giovanni
