I decided to try Catawiki. I have some very few Japanese ware, since I do not collect them, I listed them there to see how it will go.
If the link it will work, once there by clicking on my seller’s name it will bring to the other items.

Your the expert of your own piece. I was wondering how you made it all okay with Catawiki. You must dazzled them with your expertise. Talk about a turn around.
Dear Short Dong, thank you but I am not so expert about Japanese ware.
I have listed these items on Catawiki because I think that they are mostly selling within Europe. My items on ebay goes almost all in China or USA, thus the shipping cost is more heavy.
Anyway, let see how it goes.

Please may I ask a learning question about the Arita bowl?
This is clearly not a Chenghua piece but is that a Chenghua mark on the base? It looks like it to me, but you refer to "Dai Min Seika nen sei" is that a Japanese reading of the Chenghua mark or is that actually written elsewhere on the bowl - in the centre maybe?
If that is how you would read a Chenghua mark in Japanese, how do you know to do so? What is it about the bowl that says it is Japanese? Sometimes on Japanese items with spurious Chinese reign marks, the mark itself is very mean-looking which often gives it away, but on this piece the mark doesn't look thin, cramped or spidery. The painting even reminds me a bit of John's blue and white vase. So, if you have time, what elements make this Japanese Meiji?
Hope it is ok to ask, I am just interested to know more.

I know almost nothing about Japanese ware, I have already said it elsewhere here.
I bought this bowl many years ago, I even do not remember where, if on ebay or else. All what I know of it is that it is not Chinese for sure. It is Japanese, because the type of crackled glaze is Japanese, the way of painting is Japanese. They did porcelain ware with apocryphal Chinese marks.
I have sent it to Catawiki with the following exact texts:
Title: “Japanese blue and white porcelain bowl. Literati scene.”
Description: “I am selling this Japanese bowl decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a scene depicting erudites in a natural landscape, while examining Chinese calligraphy.
The bowl is bearing the Chenghua Ming mark under the base, encircled within double rings. The same inscription among other characters are on the scroll being examined by the erudites.
The bowl has a Japanese crackled glaze which you can see in the pictures of details. It is a typical glaze, no cracks. Very fine decoration overall and a nice blue color.
Size: the bowl has a diameter of 16,3 cm.
Conditions: The bowl is in excellent conditions, it has one short hairline, about 13 mm long, that you can see in one picture.”
That’s all what I have written. After a few days, I found it listed with the new title, saying that it is Arita, with the characters translated in Japanese and the dating to the Meiji period.
And the same mods inserted into the description.
All that has been made by the Catawiki’s expert, which in this case is ok for me, since as said I am not expert on Japanese ware and he surely should know more than myself.
That’s all what I can say dear Julia.
I could add that, in case of Chinese ware, I am not liking the idea of having my text modified by others. I have to consider that. By now, I see those sales as a test.

Thank you very much. I did wonder if it was, in part, the crackle in the glaze and now I know that the Chenghua reign mark has been translated into Japanese, so thank you for your help. I shall have to study this decoration style to appreciate the differences.

They are beautiful items Giovanni and i hope you have a good auction. I actually really like Japanese ware. So we have very different tastes. However some Chinese blue and white are stunning and i am gravitating towards Chinese in older pieces, they are superior.
The only failing in Catawiki for me. Is they do not list in order of Country origin in their auctions.Which means you must click each item to see where the country the item originates is from.This makes it very arduous. It is ideal if you don't mind the postage and really like the item, however being able to classify the country origin makes big difference in terms of cost of postage.
Catawiki needs to address this to make their auctions more user friendly so one can browse quickly through them for their own countries items which invariably is more practicable in the decision making process.

Two lots has ended. The blue and white bowl went for 40 euro only, it is a pity because the decoration is really fine.
The shell shaped dish went for 161 euro. To me it is fine, I paid less for it.
I take the opportunity for reiterate what is the reality about values. Each collector should keep in mind that the real value of an object is what he gets when he sells it. Thinking that our items has the same value that we see at the Auction houses, on ebay, etc, is pure illusion.
The same piece can have a certain value today and a completely different value the day after, on the same place. For example an identical shell dish, as I have shown in the listing, has been sold in USA for 1,600 dollars, which is absolutely crazy, it is not worth that.

It seems a not so good experience. I have now two Japanese dishes. Recently a dish identical to the biggest one was sold for 250 euro. My two are risking to sell for 4 euro.
I don't think that I will continue there.

I notice the link or update from Peter's site to Catawiki is broken right now , so it looks as though they have some teething problems , and as a new site I guess they don't have many registered bidders , so the prices can be unpredictable and sometimes too low (for the seller) .

Catawiki has now listed the last piece that I have submitted to them.
If someone prefer rarity over conditions (as myself) this is a not common piece, a Japanese kendi, a vessel used during Buddhist rituals.
It has cracks and restoration but it is a good opportunity to buy a rare piece at a low price:
