Ah, interesting. There was a vietnamese vase at an auction recently in similar colours. It wasn't an old vase but if I can find it, it may be helpful.
I can't find it but found similar ones. If you look up Bien hua pottery you will see 20th c itrems, many of which arrived in the USA with servicemen like yourself, with the same colours, handles and shapes. The designs also fit with yours, but the thing that still doesn’t fit is all the glaze runs as these pieces are quite neat.
I hope someone else can help, but for what it is worth I think it is most likely vietnamese, probably 20th c, but it could be late 19th as I did see an older, plain-looking one with runny brown glaze.
If you come across any one on other message boards claiming these are Song pieces, take no notice. It is someone who used to post opinions like that on here and the comments are not worth paying attention to.

@shinigami HI SHINIGAMI LOOKING AT YOUR FAMED MEMBER SHIELD WITH PATIENCE AND RESPECT ...I WAS BORN IN 1952. YES YOU GUESSED IT..YEAR OF THE DRAGON..MY MARTIAL LIFE IS THE WAY OF THE DRAGON.NOW I AM WANTING TO KNOW WHAT WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO BRING THIS VASE INTO THE CELEBRATION OF THE COMING OF THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON...IF ITS NOT WORTHY I CAN NOT DISPLAY TO THE PUBLIC JOY.... LOOKING AT YOUR SHEILD
@shinigami I vote yes, either a spoof or a passive aggressive display. Bruno Hat lives, but with a great deal less finesse.
