Some of you are so knowledgable on export ware and so kind to help others learn about what they have. Can anyone help me with this plate? It is 9" and has some wear to the glaze along with a few small chips. Is it export ware or something made to look like it? Some how the sticker on the back stating "Genuine Antique" is not reassuring, even though it looks like it's been there since the 1960's. I'd like to hear what some of you think.

It is certainly genuine, and a beautiful example. One similar, although published in black and white, is discussed in China for the West by David Howard. In my opinion, yours is of higher quality than this one. I like it very much. Photos attached:

What are beautiful plate.
Definitely genuine and I thinking it's earlier than @1750. I think it is late Kangxi to Yongzheng. So circa 1680-1720.

I'm amazed it is genuine and as old as you say! How surprising to find it at an Antiques Mall in remote Eastern Idaho.
There seemed to be something right about it but I didn't trust that sticker on the back or my novice knowledge of trade porcelains.

What a lovely plate! I can't find a coloured comparison, but I think it is genuine. As for the date, that soft pink didn't appear until Yongzheng (I could be misremembering!) so it may date from then, but considering it as a whole, I would probably go with the date in the book example that John.
@clj there are many treasures to be found in places like Idaho I find my best stuff in such antique malls. And when I find one something else will pop up in that same mall so it’s good to make scheduled visits.

congratulations to a great find. I knew I had seen it somewhere and here it is: on the cover of the book "Later Ceramics in South East Asia". They date it to 1720-25, somewhat earlier than the other book. The old label would also have made me suspicious, but in this case it was good that you bought it.

@shinigami a plate that is on a cover of a book I would suspect would do good in a auction do you think that cover helps its value?
If I had it for sale I would definitely sell it with the book...... At a premium! 📙🙏
It's a really nice example. The reverse is very consistent with earlier examples I believe.

It's even better than the cover photo of the book, imo. I love that the central lotus petals shade from pink to white to green. I still think the plate is very early Qianlong.

I did not recognize the pattern and might have overlooked it in a store.
Here's the contents of the book, there's a bit of everything in it, even 19th century dishes in Asia style that were made in Europe for the Asian market.
